About The Black Hand Network Magazine

The Black Hand Network logo

The Black Hand Network Magazine is committed to serving the Hunters Point community by providing timely and accurate reporting on jobs, compliance, cancer awareness, housing, economic equality, social and environmental injustice.

A key focus of the magazine is on employing local residents and helping community members find employment opportunities.

We take pride in highlighting the rich history, stories, and perspectives of those often overlooked in mainstream media through short film and documentaries.

Through both, the youth and our elders, the magazine empowers the community to come together and take action, advocate for change, and build a more equitable future. A new wave of economic empowerment and job creation that monitors and reports compliance between developers, contractors, and the community. Keeping everyone on one accord.
